The Delivery and Naming Ceremony of SNL HAIKOU Held in Jiangsu
23 August 2023 - The delivery and naming ceremony of the 2400TEU container vessel SNL Haikou commissioned by CMES Shipping was held in Jingjiang, Jiangsu Province. Ms Xu Weina, Vice Director of Industry Development/Business Coordination Department of China Merchants Group, officiated the ceremonial ship launching, while Mr Xu Tinghui, Senior Consultant of CMES Shipping, named the new vessel.
In his speech, Xu Tinghui mentioned that the newly built container vessel 2400TEU, equipped with advanced intelligent systems, is an environmentally friendly and energy-saving ship capable of behavioral recognition, energy efficiency management, and pollution monitoring.
Du Chengzhong expressed his expectation for both parties to deepen cooperation and construct more green vessels with intelligent systems, continuing their effort to contribute to the development of the shipping industry.
